Our Company
J.T. Mauro was founded in 1975 by Joseph and Gary Mauro, and their commitment to family values and a strong work ethic still drive our company today.
The company initially provided small to medium size contracts and services. Over the years, the company has implemented a comprehensive plan of strategic growth to become a premier mechanical contractor in Rochester and surrounding areas.
We have been contracted by various construction managers and owners, to be a team member during the pre-construction, construction, and post-construction project phases. Pre-construction services include cost estimates, value-added engineering solutions, evaluation of maintenance and operational costs for mechanical systems, as well as construct ability and phasing analysis. Our mechanical services include new construction, renovation, service and maintenance of mechanical systems in the commercial, industrial and institutional market places. These services are implemented by our in-house engineers, CAD personnel, and highly skilled field technicians and craftsman under the leadership of an experienced project management team.
We maintain our leadership position in the mechanical construction industry by consistently exceeding the commitments and expectations of our clients whether we are engaged in a small renovation project or a major mechanical construction project. While we have developed a long-term relationship in the healthcare industry, our focus also includes the medical research, pharmaceutical, institutional and industrial markets in a plan and spec, design build and/or turn-key environment.
